25th edition of hornbill festival: Review meeting held

All inaugurations of various projects will be held as scheduled

REGIONAL, November 23, 2024: A meeting was held Saturday to review the progress of the 25th edition of the Hornbill Festival 2024 under the chairmanship of Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio. Chief Minister Rio provided suggestions for enhancing the venue's aesthetic appeal, food arrangements and other aspects of the festival preparations.

He also announced that all inaugurations of various projects will be held as scheduled. Adviser to the Chief Minister Abu Metha, highlighted the events scheduled for the festival and the Hornbill Music Festival, which attracts bands and artists from India and abroad.

Deputy Chief Minister TR Zeliang addressed the condition of the national highway, urging the concerned department to ensure that the road is in good condition before the festival. Minister of Tourism Temjen Imna Along gave an overview of the Tourism Hornbill Festival mobile application and expressed gratitude for the Chief Minister's guidance and inputs.

Chief Secretary J Alam discussed logistics for the Hornbill Festival at Kisama and emphasized the importance of completing all necessary works before the festival.
