12th General Election to the Lai Autonomous District Council

Training session for the Dispatch and Receiving Teams organised

REGIONAL, November 22, 2025: A training session for the Dispatch and Receiving Teams took place Saturday in preparation for the 12th General Election to the Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) in Mizoram.

This training is part of the electoral framework established by the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution that governs 10 autonomous district councils in northeast India.

The session included briefings on various procedures, essential guidelines, and directives pertinent to Dispatch and Receiving duties, delivered by Master Trainer Gilbert Lalhlimpuia and Election Officer Collin Hlychho.
