ESIC NE Region has disbursed Rs 1, 10, 53,968 as cash benefits

To 1,649 eligible insured Persons and their dependants during October

REGIONAL, November 20, 2025: The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) North East Region has disbursed Rs 1, 10, 53,968 as cash benefits to 1,649 eligible insured persons and their dependants during the month of October 2025. This is in line with its commitment to ensuring comprehensive social security for workers and their families.

ESIC ensures the timely and transparent delivery of both medical and cash benefits to the insured population through the Regional Office in Guwahati and its network of Branch Offices, Camp Offices and DCBOs across the North Eastern States.

ESIC, under the Union Ministry of Labour & Employment, is a pioneering social security organization providing a wide range of benefits to the workforce, including medical care, sickness benefit, maternity benefit, disablement benefit, dependants’ benefit and other statutory entitlements during times of need to insured persons and their dependants.

These benefits act as a vital safety net for workers facing contingencies such as illness, workplace injury, maternity or loss of earning capacity.
