11 cadets of Sainik School Punglwa clear NDA written exam
Staff and fellow cadets joined in celebrating this accomplishment

REGIONAL, October 02, 2025: The announcement by UPSC on the written examination results for NDA brought immense joy and pride to Sainik School Punglwa. In a remarkable achievement, 11 cadets of the school cleared the UPSC written examination for NDA showcasing their hard work and dedication.
Among the successful candidates, five cadets are from the Class-12 2025-26 batch viz Cidibe Peter Mbung, Vide Paul Rhetso, Anshik Yadav, Sahil and Dev Dagar. Six cadets from the previous academic years including Gopal Jee Kumar, Urjit Singh, Golu Kumar, Ish Dwidedi, Nirbhay Kumar and Himanshu Kumar—also excelled in the examination PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, informed in a statement.
Colonel (Dr) Smita Misra, Principal of Sainik School Punglwa, congratulated the cadets and emphasising upon the importance of their achievements of their personal growth, also for the institution and the state.
The staff and fellow cadets joined in celebrating this significant accomplishment, reinforcing the school’s spirit of camaraderie and excellence. The successful cadets are now one step closer to fulfilling their aspirations of joining the prestigious Indian Armed Forces, serving the country with honor and integrity.
