CM warns stern action against forceful collection of subscriptions

AGARTALA, September 09, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister has warned of stern action against those who are collecting subscriptions through unfair means. He said the administration and security enforcing agencies are on the alert to prevent any unlawful activities ahead and during Durga puja festival.

“One’s celebration should not create sorrow for others. Let the ensuing Durga puja festival be celebrated on a happy note," he said in a televised address Tuesday.

He said aggrieved people can contact helplines and administration should there be any grievances. He said officials are entrusted with respective responsibilities to maintain peace and tranquillity.

The Chief Minister also appealed to everyone to help contain drug addictions. He also urged people to remain alert and practice safe driving to avoid any road mishaps.
