AGARTALA, January 29, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha strongly criticised the CPIM party calling it a "masterpiece in misleading people." He accused the left party of never acknowledging development and gave a strong response to the allegations they raised against the BJP during a public meeting Wednesday.
Dr Saha also took aim at CPIM politburo member Prakash Karat advising him to undergo cataract surgery due to his inability to see progress. He pointed out that the CPIM did not respect Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur during their tenure, but the current government has named the Agartala airport after him out of respect.
Dr Saha also mentioned the development of the road on which CPIM hoisted their party flag, questioning why they did not see the progress. He further stated that the CPIM has regressed by 50 years while the country's economy has developed from 11th place to 5th place.
He accused the CPIM of dragging the development behind. Dr Saha also criticised the CPIM and Congress for attacking the Constitution during the Congress led UPA period, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked to protect and safeguard it.
He contrasted this with the actions of CPIM and Congress, who he claimed have worked to undermine the Constitution. Dr Saha also pointed out that the CPIM is facing defeat everywhere and urged people to understand why they are being rejected by the public.
