Union sports ministry calls for applications for 2025 awards

NATIONAL, September 30, 2025: The Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is currently accepting online applications for the 2025 awards through the dedicated portal www.dbtyas-sports.gov.in. Sports awards are presented annually in India to recognize excellence in sports.
These awards include the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award for outstanding performance by athletes, the Arjuna Award for consistent excellence, the Arjuna Award (Lifetime) for lifetime contributions, the Dronacharya Award for coaches who produce successful athletes and the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar (RKPP) for entities supporting sports development.
Interested individuals must submit their applications by 11:59 pm on October 28, 2025. Applicants can also contact the Department of Sports via the provided email or phone numbers during working hours.
