54th KVS Silchar Region Regional Sports Meet held
160 students from 22 Kendriya Vidyalayas joined the event

REGIONAL, May 06, 2025: Kendriya Vidyalaya Happy Valley Shillong hosted the 54th Regional Sports Meet (KVS Silchar Region) 2025 from May 4 to 6. The event, led by Principal Dhirendra Bahadur Singh attracted 160 students from 22 Kendriya Vidyalayas in various sports such as rope skipping, boxing, Taekwondo, skating, shooting and chess.
The meet concluded on May 6 with the presence of Chief Guest Brig Joe Sabby, 58 GTC & Chairman VMC, PM SHRI KV Happy Valley, Observers Navina Kumar Srivastava, Principal PM SHRI KV EAC Upper Shillong, Nitu Singh-TGT PHE, KV Masimpur and Paritosh Das-TGT PHE, PM SHRI KV Panisagar, the Guest of Honour Deepti Dixit and Dynamic Venue Principal Dhirendra Bahadur Singh.
The meet concluded with a colorful Cultural Programme and Prize Distribution Ceremony. The Chief Guest blessed the participants and emphasized the importance of sports in every child's life.
The three-day event concluded with the Flag Retreat Ceremony.
