BJP intensified party works ahead of assembly by-elections

AGARTALA, May 01 2022: Phanindra Nath Sharma, BJP Organisational In-charge for Tripura and Assam has arrived here Wednesday to oversee organisation and preparation for the ensuing by-elections in four assembly constituencies of the state.  

Sharma attended an organisation meeting with the office bearers of 8-Agartala assembly constituency, one of the poll bound segments. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha was present.

Dr Saha later attended the core committee meeting held at the Bharatiya Janata Party's head office here. Chief Minister tweeted that various organisational issues were discussed in the meeting where Pravari Vinod Sonkar, Union State Minister Pratima Bhoumik, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarman and senior leaders were in attendance.

Dr Manik Saha also graced a joining programme at Town Bardowali constituency from where he is expected to contest in the by-election. BJP claimed 138 voters from 43 families joined the party at the programme.
