Under-11 chess contest: Aradhya ends fourth with prize
Divi Bijesh became champion by getting 9 and a half points

AGARTALA, October 14, 2024: Aradhya Das, trained by the Matrix Chess Academy surprised everyone by placing fourth in the National Under-11 Chess Championship held in Telangana. In the 11-round series, she finished with nine points.
The event took place at the GMC Biology Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Divi Bijesh became the champion with 9.5 points while Pratitee Bordoloi finished second with an equal number of points in Vocals.
Aadya Gowda took third place with 9 points. Despite being the youngest female candidate from Northeast India, Aradhya finished fourth in Vocals with an equal number of points.
She received 40,000 rupees as prize money and a trophy for her achievement. In a phone call from Telangana, Aradhya expressed her happiness with her performance and believes that this success will motivate her to do even better in the future.
The coach of Matrix Chess Academy, Master Prasenjit Dutta, congratulated Aradhya on her accomplishment.
