Top Bangladesh politician Nasim critical with COVID-19

AGARTALA, June 05 2020: Former Bangladesh minister and a top functionary of ruling Awami League Mohammed Nasim undergone surgery for brain haemorrhage after he was shifted to a hospital with COVID-19 symptoms.
He was tested positive for the coronavirus infection. He was admitted in the hospital for COVID-19 treatment and was stable till he suffered a brain stroke on Friday morning.
Nasim is son of M Mansur Ali, one of the four national leaders shot dead in Dhaka central jail on November 3 1975 by a group of renegade army officers.
He served as home and health ministers in the government under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
