Self-nomination for award on Teacher’s Day invited

Need to submit through the Ministry of Education’s official portal

NATIONAL, July 08, 2025: The Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, New Delhi, is inviting all teachers for self-nominations for the selection of eligible candidates for the National Teachers’ Award 2025, which will be presented on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on September 5, 2025, by the President of India at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Interested and eligible teachers from institutions may submit their self-nomination through the Ministry of Education’s official portal.

Nomination period: June 23 to July 15, 2025.

The ministry of education has requested all concerned to disseminate this information to the teaching faculty under their institution and encourage eligible teachers to participate in this prestigious recognition programme.

It has been informed that for further guidelines and eligibility criteria refer to the user manual available on the nomination portal.
