RK Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre to launch e-zine

SHILLONG, April 26 2020: Considering the prevailing situation of COVID 19 pandemic, Ramakrishna Mission Shillong has decided to inaugurate and launch the e-zine “Ka Jingshai – The Light”, a Khasi-English-Hindi e-zine through video conferencing.

It will be inaugurated by Most Revered Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj, President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math on April 27 2020 at 11 am. The entire programme will be broadcasted live on the YouTube Channel – ‘Vivekananda Cultural Centre’.

The print version will be inaugurated from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre

This is going to be a unique venture as it is the first time Vivekananda Cultural Centre is portraying the cultural heritage of Meghalaya and its relation to the other parts of our country through poetry, literature, photography, artwork and cartoon that will reach thousands of readers and bring home the light of Meghalayan culture.

The e-zine will also have an audio version of the main articles generated through Text To Speech technology.

Eminent personalities like Bah Sumar Sing Sawian, Dr Ananya S Guha, Dr TK Kharbamon and Dr Anita Panda are in the editorial board of the magazine while Bah Raphael Warjri did the painting and designing of the magazine.
