NATIONAL, July 25 2023: The Ministry of Defence (MoD) in collaboration with Ministry of Education (MoE) has decided to launch Project Veer Gatha 3.0 in the current year 2023-24.

Project Veer Gatha was instituted under Gallantry Awards Portal (GAP) in 2021 with the aim to disseminate the details of acts of bravery of the Gallantry Awardees and the life stories of these brave hearts among the students so as to raise the spirit of patriotism and instill amongst them values of civic consciousness. Project Veer Gatha deepened this noble aim by providing a platform to the school students to do creative projects and activities based on gallantry award winners.

As part of this, the students can frame different projects such as poem, paragraph, story, drawing and video on gallantry award winners. There will be winners at every level - District Level, State and National level.

The winner at National Level will be felicitated jointly by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Defence at New Delhi. All the winners at District & State will be felicitated by respective District and State.

All Heads of Registered Institutions have been directed to inform and popularise the Project Veer Gatha and to upload all the entries in MyGov Portal. For further details, schools can refer the following links and website www.gallantryawards.gov.in to know in detail about the brave- hearts.
