Popular TV Anchor Rohit Sardana passes away

AGARTALA, April 30 2021: TV journalist and anchor Rohit Sardana has passed away Friday morning after suffering from a post Covid19 heart attack. The popular face of Hindi television news, Sardana, was admitted to a hospital in New Delhi after being tested positive to coronavirus.
He recovered from the ailment, but died of a massive cardiac arrest Friday morning.
Rohit Sardana was with the Aaj Tak after he left the Zee News in 2017 where he was working as an Executive Editor and Anchor.
Zee News Editor-in Chief Sudhir Chaudhury in his condolence said he never thought the virus would take away his former colleague.
People in their condolences described him as one of the most popular Hindi anchors in the country. Untimely death of Sardana came as a major shock to the media community.
