Pabitra Margherita arrives in Tripura for a three-day visit
To oversee development projects in the state, to visit districts

AGARTALA, October 16, 2024: Pabitra Margherita, the Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles, has arrived in Agartala Wednesday for a three-day visit to Tripura. He met with Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu and Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha at Raj Bhavan.
Margherita discussed development issues with the Governor and asserted that the central government mandates Union Ministers to oversee development projects in different states. He left for Khowai and will hold a review meeting with district administration officials to discuss progress of centrally sponsored schemes.
Margherita will also visit ongoing projects in education, health, agriculture, infrastructure and skill development. He will also interact with women-run Self Help Groups and visit the Handicraft Cluster Project at Shankhla in Simna and the Handloom Awareness Programme and 'Samarth' Training Centre under ICDS at Fatikchhara.
Margherita is scheduled to visit Matabari in Udaipur during his visit.
