ONGC Tripura Asset flags off SAKSHAM 2021

AGARTALA, January 16 2021: ONGC Tripura Asset flagged off Sanrakshan Kshamata Mahotsav (SAKSHAM) Saturday at its base office in Agartala. The month-long Oil and Gas Conservation Mass Awareness Campaign commenced with the taking of pledge by all employees.
ED-Asset Manager Tarun Malik, who chaired the inaugural ceremony, stressed upon actively participating in the awareness drive for accelerating conservation of petroleum products leading to environment protection, energy security and sustainable development.He also declared every Friday as ‘ NO CAR DAY’ to save fuel and environment.
Keeping in mind the pandemic situation, participation at the inaugural ceremony held at base office was kept limited; all other employees took their pledges online.
A number of awareness programme and mass campaigns have been planned by the ONGC Tripura Asset during one month programme, which culminates on February 15, to spread message of fuel conservation and fuel efficiency. Most of them would be organised virtually through online.
The events have been planned in ONGC Installations, Rigs, Base Office, KV School ONGC, including mobile-van publicity and various activities for ONGC Officers’ MahilaSamity (OOMS), employees and their wards to spread awareness
Events like Cyclothon and Human Chain have been planned to encourage and spread the message of fuel conservation in mass.
Saksham Cycle Day will be organized on January 31 as per Petroleum Conservation Research Agency (PCRA) guidelines.
