NATIONAL, September 14 2023: The Department of Science, Technology & Waste Management Government of Goa invites applications from Young Indian Scientists below the age of 35 years for ‘Manohar Parrikar Yuva Scientist Award 2023’.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh and a citation to recognise talent in Science, Technology & Innovation and to promote sustained research productivity.

The union government introduced the award in memory of country’s former Defence Minister and distinguished political personality Manohar Parrikar who passed away on March 17 2019.
