AGARTALA, January 13 2023: Maharaja of Manipur Sanajaoba Leishemba is on a visit to Tripura to grace inaugural ceremony of Lai Haraoba, a traditional social event of Manipuri community. He also attended a few events of the BJP where he addressed audience as Rajya Sabha MP from the saffron party.

He attended Lai Haraoba along with Union MoS Pratima Bhoumik at Abhoynagar locality here Friday. He said that he was proud to see Meetei people of Tripura still preserve their culture and identity.

Officers from Manipur in the Assam Rifles also hosted dinner in honour of Maharaja at the 18 battalion headquarters.
