Bike rally, flash mob organised for promotion activities

SHILLONG, February 17, 2024:  The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs organised a series of promotional activities in Shillong Saturday to kick off the highly anticipated 4th edition of the Khelo India University Games. The day began with the vibrant "Starting Point – Kyndailad" event, followed by a thrilling bike rally and a mesmerizing flash mob.

The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills district, RM Kurbah, took center stage as she flagged off the bike rally and joined the electrifying flash mob, accompanied by other dignitaries. In her address to the gathered crowd at Kyndailad, she expressed her excitement about the massive turnout, with over 500 participants expected to take part in the upcoming games.

The bike rally and flash mob concluded at Ward's Lake with a live band performance by the Meghalaya Grassroot Music Project.
