Three Indian human traffickers, two men and a 27-year-old woman, were also arrested in the station area. Since August 4, 94 Bangladeshi nationals and 10 Rohingyas have been detained in the Agartala rail station area.
31 Indian agents who assisted the Bangladeshis in their infiltration and onward journey were also caught during the period. The GRP has received support from the BSF and intelligence agencies in carrying out these operations.
