India Trade Promotion Organisation to hold 7-day event

14th East Himalayan Trade Fair and 1st East Himalayan Agri Expo 2025

REGIONAL, January 22, 2025: India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the premier trade promotion agency under the Government of India is organising the 14th East Himalayan Trade Fair (EHTF) and 1st East Himalayan Agri Expo 2025 from January 23-29 at Assam Engineering Institute playground in Chandmari, Guwahati.

The week-long event will enable citizens to procure items directly from sellers and provide a platform for sellers to showcase their products. The event will feature MSME units, self-help groups, women entrepreneurs and start-ups, who share their stories, traditions and embrace new technologies.

The event organised in association with Assam government's Department of Industries and Commerce will showcase various consumer goods as well as dedicated products from the agriculture and horticulture sector. Capital and service sector goods, such as engineering goods, items for hospitals, laboratories, insurance, tourism, NGOs and IT and computer sectors, will also be showcased.

ITPO has played a pioneering role in national trade growth dynamics since its inception.
