CM said recruiting qualified candidates with transparency

AGARTALA, July 16, 2025: Tripura's Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha announced that the state government is providing jobs to qualified candidates based on transparency, merit and qualifications. Since 2018, the government has given jobs to 19,742 people including die-in-harness cases in regular posts.
Speaking at an event to mark distribution of offer letters to junior engineers in the PWD Wednesday, Chief Minister said the government is working towards the overall development of the state, job creation, transparency, implementation of promises and the welfare of the people.
The PM Vishwakarma Yojana, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has allocated about RS 13,000 crores for the welfare of 18 sections of society. The government has also allocated Rs 7,000 crores in this year's budget for infrastructure development with the aim of building a beautiful Tripura.
The government has increased the trust of job seekers and their guardians, as there is no need to march for jobs, visit party offices, or have leaders arrested. As of today, 19,742 people have been given jobs, and more jobs have been provided on a contractual and outsourcing basis.
Tripura has become the third state in the country to achieve full literacy status, ranking second in the North Eastern region in terms of per capita income and GSDP.
