Hornbill Festival: Day 3 of the CBC Multi-Media Exhibition
Cultural events saw attendance of a large number of visitors

REGIONAL, December 03, 2024: On the third day of the Multi-Media Exhibition organised by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the 25th Hornbill Festival in Kisama, there was a remarkable turnout. The exhibition, hosted by the CBC Field Office, saw a large number of visitors from both the local area and other states of India.
These visitors actively participated in various events and competitions organized to engage the public. One of the major highlights of the day was the captivating performance by the Private Registered Troupe, Lamhil Kuki Cultural Research Centre from Manipur.
The traditional dance performed by the group attracted a large crowd, who were mesmerized by the rich cultural expressions and vibrant choreography. Attendees eagerly gathered around to capture the moment, taking photos with the artists to cherish the experience.
Participants from the Angami Tribe visited the exhibition and actively engaged in the quiz competitions organized by the CBC Field Office in Kohima, along with other visitors. Eighteen lucky participants emerged as winners, receiving coffee mugs embossed with the logo of the Hornbill Festival as prizes, while caps were also distributed to all participants as a token of appreciation for their involvement.
The day's events were a resounding success, with attendees thoroughly enjoying the activities and showcasing their enthusiasm for the cultural celebrations both at the exhibition and at the Hornbill Festival 2024.
