Former Chief Minister distributes relief to flood affected people

AGARTALA, June 02, 2025: Former Chief Minister and Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb Monday visited eight relief camps in West Tripura district where flood victims were sheltering. He distributed 2,250 food packets to each person in the first phase of his personal initiative,

These food packets were distributed so that everyone would have food for at least a few days in this difficult situation of natural disaster. It includes 5 kg of rice, 500 grams pulses, mustard edible oil, 500 grams soybeans, 500 grams onion, 500 grams potato, salt and biscuits.

While in Delhi, he spoke to the responsible officials and inquired about every issue concerning current flood situation. During earlier floods in the state, he had also distributed thousands of food packets throughout Tripura.
