CM urged doctors to address problems beyond regular working hours

AGARTALA, July 07, 2024: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said it is important that the doctors fulfil their responsibilities with dedication and timeliness. He acknowledged the tireless work of doctors, who not only work 24/7 for the people but also donate blood to save the lives of the poor.
Speaking at a voluntary blood donation camp organised by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Tripura Branch at IMA House here Sunday, the Chief Minister urged doctors to address problems beyond regular working hours and to respond immediately to calls from the public.
The event coincided with the Rath Yatra festival and National Doctor's Day.
The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the organizers, blood donors, and the team that facilitated the blood donation camp. Distinguished guests at the event included IMA Tripura Branch President Dr Sanjib Debbarma, Secretary, Dr Basab Ghosh, State Branch President of the Indian Dental Association, Dr SM Ali, and Dr Damodar Chatterjee.
Dr Saha presented certificates to the blood donors and participated in a tree-planting program as part of the blood donation camp.
