Dipa Karmakar back to practice for the best

AGARTALA, August 10 2020: International gymnast Dipa Karmakar has returned to her practice session Monday ending days of break owing to coronavirus menace. She and her junior mates turned up at the Netaji Subhas Regional Coaching Centre (NSRCC) to resume practice.

All participants are following health protocols, said an official of the Tripura Sports Council.

The 2016 Rio Olympics star celebrated her birthday Sunday in a low scale with family and some sports personalities.

On first day of practice she concentrated on floor exercise and expected to start practicing on her preferred Produnova soon.

Karmakar had recovered from a career-threatening knee injury sustained in 2017.
