CM speaks at the 4th National Conference of Chief Secretaries
Described officers and employees as the driving force of any state

AGARTALA, March 11, 2025: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha described the officers and employees as the driving force of any state, emphasising the need for them to focus on crucial sectors. He thanked Prime Minister Modi for strengthening cooperative federalism and praised the Amar Sarkar portal during the 4th National Conference of Chief Secretaries at Udaipur in Gomati Tuesday.
The conference focused on six topics: manufacturing, services, rural non-farm sectors, urban development, renewable energy, and the circular economy. Saha highlighted the importance of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and the One District, One Product initiative, stressing the need for quality and production. He also highlighted the implementation of the E-office system from the Assembly to the Panchayat level transitioning Tripura from a Performing State to a Front-Runner State.
Tripura's Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has increased making it the second-highest in the Northeast region. Dr Saha felt the need for active efforts in aspirational districts and the development of an Affordable Housing Policy.
