AGARTALA, April 07, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Monday highlighted the Bharatiya Janata Party's commitment to rural India stating that the party's foundation is deeply connected to the spirit and soul of the nation's villages.
Dr Saha participated in the Gram Chalo Abhiyan under Bamutia Assembly Constituency as part of the BJP's 46th foundation year celebrations, engaging with local residents through beneficiary interactions and chaupal meetings in East Gandhigram.
He emphasised the party's dedication to the socio-economic upliftment of rural communities, guided by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay's Antyodaya mantra and the philosophy of Ekatma Manav Darshan. Dr Saha also met beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) and emphasised the importance of hygiene and public participation in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
He visited newly constructed sub-centers under the Animal Resources Development Department, including a fishery sub-center, and attended the rice ceremony of Kaushal Debnath, daughter of Bijay Debnath and Sima Das Debnath.
