CM reviews Covid-19 preparedness, no detection so far

AGARTALA, March 22, 2020: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb reviewed preparedness to prevent spread of coronavirus with senior government officials and district magistrates during discussions with them through video conference. 

Chief Minister informed that there has not been single case of detection of a patient infected with Coronavirus.

He asserted that the state government was giving its best to raise awareness on the preventive measures.

Deb earlier announced formation of a Task Force to deal with the situation in the state.

The state government has taken several measures in view of global outbreak of Covid-19. All educational institutions have been shut and examinations under different school boards have been postponed.
