CM inspects venue of PM’s rally to oversee preparations
PM Modi is scheduled to arrive in Tripura for a one-day campaign

AGARTALA, April 16, 2024: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Tuesday visited Swami Vivekananda Stadium in Agartala to inspect the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public rally tomorrow. The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive in Tripura for a one-day campaign and will land at MBB Airport around noon.
Dr Saha's visit aimed to ensure that the venue is fully prepared for the Prime Minister's programme. During his visit, he instructed officials to complete any pending work and urged the people of the state to attend the event.
The Lok Sabha elections in Tripura are scheduled for April 19 and 26, with Biplab Kumar Deb contesting from the West Lok Sabha Constituency and Kriti Devi Debbarman from the East (ST) constituency.
Dr Saha reviewed various arrangements, including security preparedness and provided valuable advice to officials involved in the preparations. BJP state President Rajib Bhattacharya, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy and other top party leaders were also present during visit of Chief Minister.
