Chief Minister sanctions several key developmental projects

AGARTALA, August 07, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Thursday sanctioned several key developmental projects aimed at improving civic infrastructure, road connectivity, civic amenities and public health in the state.
These initiatives reflect the government’s ongoing commitment to better living standards and efficient governance, readout from CMO stated.
The sanctioned projects include that of the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) amounting to Rs 32.33. The fund will be spent on the construction and improvement of the RCC, covering drains and roads across several wards of the Corporation.
Besides, the Chief Minister allocated Rs 55.16 crore for maintenance works of 27 PMGSY Roads across 12 Sub-Divisions covering a total length of 129.5 kms under the State PWD.
The subdivisions where development projects would be implemented include Sonamura, Bishalgarh, Teliamura, Mohanpur, Udaipur, Amarpur, Sabroom, Belonia, Ambassa, Kamalpur, Kanchanpur and Kailashahar.
