New Delhi, July 18 2020 (HS): Former Indian cricketer and legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar backed Stuart Broad, saying that he will prove himself on the field.
After being excluded from the first Test, England included Broad in the playing eleven for the second Test. Broad missed out on England's home Test for the first time in eight years after being dropped in the first Test.
On the second day of the second Test, England declared their first innings scoring 469 for 9 wickets. In response, the West Indies scored 32 runs for one wicket at the end of the day's play.
Sachin Tendulkar tweeted, "There is a spring in @StuartBroad8’s walk and I have a feeling that he is out on the field with plenty to show. #ENGvWI".
