Bihar polls: Campaigning for the second and final phase ends
Elections in 122 Assembly constituencies across 20 districts on Nov 11

NATIONAL, November 09, 2025: Campaigning for the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly elections concluded Sunday evening. The elections connecting 122 Assembly constituencies across 20 districts will be held on November 11.
Over 3.70 crore voters will determine the fate of 1,302 candidates, including 136 women. On the last campaigning day, prominent figures from both the NDA and Mahagathbandhan exerted efforts to attract voter support.
NDA campaigners included Union Home Minister Amit Shah, senior BJP leaders and Union Ministers alongside JD (U) leaders. Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav rallied in support of Mahagathbandhan candidates.
The NDA focused on attacking the opposition alliance based on past governance, and law and order issues while Mahagathbandhan leaders emphasised concerns regarding unemployment, migration and development.
The political future of 12 Ministers from Nitish Kumar's government is at stake in this phase.
Earlier on November 6 polling took place in 121 constituencies with the overall vote count for the state's 243 assembly segments scheduled for November 14.
