Assam donates hefty amount to assist flood victims in Tripura

Assam CM sent his minister to give the donation to CM Dr Saha

AGARTALA, September 01, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha expressed his gratitude to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for generously donating Rs 5 crore to assist the flood victims in Tripura. The donation was presented by Assam's Minister of Tourism Jayanta Malla Barua to Chief Minister Dr Saha at his official residence in Agartal Sunday.

On X, Dr Saha penned, "I am sincerely grateful to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the Government of Assam for their kind support towards the flood victims."

Chief Minister further mentioned that during the visit to his official residence Assam's Minister of Tourism Jayanta Malla Barua on behalf of the Government of Assam donated Rs 5 crore to aid the flood victims.
