All but 19 Indians discharged from Russian forces

Government said taken concerted measures to ensure their early release

NATIONAL, December 13, 2024: Indian nationals recruited in the Russian armed forces have been discharged with only 19 currently remaining. The government informed the Lok Sabha Friday that it has taken concerted measures to ensure their early release and repatriation including contacting all deputed Indian nationals on the war front and contacting the Indian mission.

The Indian mission has also been able to establish contact with the Indian nationals fighting for Russia against Ukraine.
