The Aguli Lantern Festival is a community-driven cultural event that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate the rich heritage of Tripura. With its mesmerising display of handcrafted lanterns, traditional food stalls, traditional performances and a vibrant cultural fair, the festival has grown in popularity since its inception, attracting visitors not only from Agartala but also from across the state and neighbouring regions.
This festival has become a cherished tradition in Agartala, inviting families, friends and visitors to gather for a mesmerizing experience under the night sky. Attendees will witness a sea of glowing lanterns ascend into the heavens, symbolizing hope, unity and aspirations for the coming year. This year Ananya Ghosh, Souvik Saha, Bandishgeetika and Novonil Chakma will be performing live at the Aguli Lantern Festival.
