Senior journalist Sanjay Sinha passes away aged 65

KOLKATA, July 09 2020 (HS):  Members of Press Club, Kolkata Thursday deeply mourned the sudden demise of senior journalist and a member of the Club Sanjay Sinha after a brief illness in his house this afternoon.

He was 65 and is survived by his wife and a daughter. During his long journalistic career spanning over four decades, Sinha  worked in Paribartan, Aajkal, Bartaman, Anandabazar Patrika, Sangbad Nazar and other  vernacular media organisations of West Bengal .

Known for a friendly attitude towards fellow journalists and reporters, especially his former colleagues in political beats, which he covered for a long time with much acclaim, Sinha was also liked by the leaders of all political parties.

He was also a dramatist.

Members of Kolkata Press Club paid rich tributes to the departed member and expressed their deep condolence to the members of the bereaved family.
