Enthusiasm over cricket tournament in south Tripura

AGARTALA, March 03 2021: An inspiring cricket tournament series was held at Ampi Nagar in south Tripura amid great enthusiasm and excitement among the local spectators. 

With the initiative of the Naba Udai Sangha the series entitled ‘Smriti Cricket Tournament' got underway at the Ampi Nagar girls' hostel stadium. MLA Sindhu Chandra Jamatia had inaugurated the exciting tournament in presence of many dignitaries.

The tournament was dedicated in memory of Ratan Deb, Taruni Kalai and Shekhar Deb who were ardent sports lovers.  

The competition commenced on January 12 and total 34 teams participated. In the final contest Agriculture team defeated Holua team.  

The Naba Udai Sangha members worked hard to make the tournament a success.
