Veteran physician dies in a road mishap in Agartala

AGARTALA, June 14 2021: A veteran medical prescriptioner died in a road misfortune here Monday. Dr Prasenjit Saha was an alumnus of city’s most famous Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan.
His classmate educationalist Dr Debabrata Bhowmik informed that Dr Saha faced road raze on his way back home from a morning walk. He died instantly after getting hit by a vehicle at Banamalipur locality.
The deceased left behind his widowed wife and only daughter - Dr Reshma Saha. She is settled in Mumbai.
Condolences were pouring in from various segments of society over passing away of Dr Saha. The Alumni of Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan described him as a ‘dedicated alumnus’.
Dr Prasenjit Saha used to take lead in organising health camps in the school where he studied and passed out way back in 1968.
