Chief Ministers lauded Prime Minister’s vision for social change

AGARTALA, October 25, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha emphasised the significance of unorganised workers in the growth of the rural economy during the inauguration of the state-level exhibition on the “PM Vishwakarma Yojana” in Agartala Friday. He highlighted the increase in the number of Self Help Groups (SHGs) from 4,000 to approximately 50,000 under the BJP government resulting in improvements in Tripura's rural economy.
Dr Saha lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for social change and the launch of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, which aims to benefit skilled artisans and labourers. He urged officials and workers to continue their dedicated efforts towards enhancing worker efficiency in the unorganized sector.
The event also showcased successful project implementations by the Central Government through MSMEs with ongoing government support through various schemes. The Chief Minister expressed confidence in these projects contributing to a better future for the beneficiaries.
The event was attended by beneficiaries from different districts of Tripura.
