Union Minister of State Suresh Gopi visits northeast

Held meetings with officials with development on the focus

REGIONAL, February 14, 2025: Union Minister of State for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Tourism Suresh Gopi arrived in Nagaland Friday. During his visit, he had an interaction with officials from the District Administration and various departments at the Police House in Chumoukedima. 

He highlighted the government's commitment under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the development of the North East, with a special focus on Nagaland. Gopi urged officials to carefully review the budget and ensure that all citizens in the state receive its full benefits.

He assured them of his full support for any proposals or projects. After the meeting, Gopi visited the Naga Heirloom Centre at Sovima, where he was impressed by the skilled artisans at work.

He also had a meeting with Chief Minister Rio at his private residence.
