Tripura CM lends a helping hand to ailing Ankita

AGARTALA, December 06 2022: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has extended a helping hand to ailing Ankita Debnath, a content creator and social media influencer. The young lass from the state is suffering from cancer and receiving treatment outside.

On behalf of the state government, Chief Minister handed a Check of Rs 2 lakh to the widowed mother of Ankita. “I believe she will beat cancer and recover very soon”, he said during meeting with the family at his office Tuesday.  

Dr Saha wished her a speedy recovery. “I have also instructed the concerned officials to keep in contact with the family”, he added.

Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik has also been supporting her treatment. She has also spoken to Ankita Debnath through video call Tuesday.

Scores of people also came out to donate for her treatment.
