The Royal Tripura Expo to attract many visitors

AGARTALA, January 12 2021: The 15-day-long entrepreneur's exhibition The Royal Tripura Expo that showcases the exquisite works by rural artisans and craftsmen is going to start from January 14 at Pragati School premises. It will end on January 28, organisers said.
MLA Surajit Datta will inaugurate the expo while TIDC Chairman Tinku Roy along with TRTC Chairman Dipak Majumder will remain present as honour guests.
There are many handloom and handicrafts sellers from state and many traders from outside the state would attend the fair said Sujit Saha, a member of the expo fair committee.
The rich textile works by the rural artisans and craftsmen of Tripura and also other states are the main highlights of the The Royal Tripura Expo.' Weavers, artisans and handloom makers, from various states including Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir to participate in the fair.
A jewellery owner from Punjab said: "Fair like this gives us the opportunity to travel more and we get free stay and sale is good. An initiative like this by the government is good as all the help comes from them."
