The AR celebrates Hindi Diwas with school children
Encouraging students to embrace their linguistic heritage

REGIONAL, September 15, 2024: Assam Rifles High School at Teliamura in Tripura’s Khowai district Saturday celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm, highlighting the importance of the Hindi language in unifying the nation and preserving its cultural heritage. The event involved six teachers and 70 students with the Principal encouraging students to embrace their linguistic heritage and promote multilingualism.
Activities were organised to engage students and emphasise the role of the Hindi language in India's rich culture and history. The highlight of the event was a Hindi declamation competition, where students showcased their oratory skills on topics related to culture, national integration and the significance of Hindi in modern India.
Other cultural performances included poetry recitations, skits and other traditional performances. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets, symbolizing unity and joy among all participants.
