At a program named ‘Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and Atmanirbhar Bharat’

NEW DELHI, May 11 2022: In remembrance of Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar and his works for the society and the people of India, ‘My Home India (MHI)’ organized a program named as ‘Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and Atmanirbhar Bharat’ at Delhi University’s conference center Wednesday.
My Home India, an organisation working nationwide for different causes such as providing assistance to the North Eastern people and working for social harmony among citizens.
Dr Ambedkar was an Indian jurist, economist, social reformer and political leader who headed the committee drafting the Constitution of India. His struggle to bring the deprived section into the mainstream will remain an example for generations to come.
Guru Prakash Paswan , National spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was the chief speaker and BJP National Secretary Sunil Deodhar (Founder of MHI) was invited as the Chief Guest of the event.
Prof Sushma Yadav (Member of University Grants Commission) presided over the program. Nawal Kishor, IDAS (Retd) and President of My Home India’s Delhi NCR unit Baldev Sachdeva was also present.
Sunil Deodhar paid tribute to the Bharat Ratna, Babasaheb and highlighted that Ambedkar changed lives of many people through his knowledge and the idea of Atmanirbhar has come from Babasaheb Ambedkar’s vision. He also pointed that to understand Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar first we have to understand and know about Mahatma Jyotiba phule.
“Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Ji made consistent efforts for improvisation of Hindu Community, he was never against the Hindu’s but he was against ill myths developed in our society. He always wanted a united India & Hinduism as its key” Sunil Deodhar added.
On the other hand, Guru Prakash said that the thoughts of Dr Babasaheb have always guided him and his family.
“Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar is much beyond his dalit identity. He is an economist, foreign strategist, social reformer - scientist, administrator, etc. Restricting his multiple identities is somewhere equivalent to restricting his identity.” He added.
Prof Sushma Yadav, Member of UGC, also shared her thoughts on Babasaheb and she said that Education, Skill & Self-Esteem- these are the basic principles for Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Babasaheb always believed to work on these issues at that time.
The Programme concluded with vote of thanks by MHI Delhi-NCR president Baldev Sachdeva.
