AGARTALA, October 24, 2024: The Mumbai team is currently preparing to face Tripura in the upcoming Ranji Trophy match. However, their preparations have been hindered by incessant rains causing concern within the team.
The match is scheduled to begin Saturday at the MBB Stadium. The team, which includes former Indian opener Ajinkya Rahane, has been practicing for an average of two and a half hours at the MBB Stadium.
Their training sessions have focused on conditioning, fielding and net practice. The Mumbai captain has reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with the wicket during a visit to the 22 yards at MBB.
Despite the challenges, the team remains determined to win over the sports lovers of Tripura and secure a spot in the main stage. Their goal is to perform well, earn full points against Tripura, and advance to the main stage.
However, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain for Friday, adding to the team's concerns.
