PM to launch tribal welfare projects worth ₹83,300 Cr

NEW DELHI, October 01, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the launch of the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand Wednesday. This initiative aims to empower tribal communities and improve rural infrastructure in the state.
The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone and dedicate multiple projects, collectively valued at over ₹83,300 crore, to the nation. This pivotal initiative will bring transformative changes to the socio-economic landscape of the region.
It further demonstrates the government's commitment to tribal welfare and rural progress. In preparation for the Prime Minister's visit, Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram visited Hazaribagh on September 30 to review the arrangements for this landmark event.
Accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA), Oram ensured that all plans were being executed meticulously. During his visit, he conducted a thorough inspection of the event venue and other essential facilities to ensure a smooth event.
