Pangnyu Phom holds video conference on pandemic

KOHIMA, June 12 2021: The Minister Health & Family Welfare S Pangnyu Phom held a video Conference meeting at NIC Secretariat Saturday with the District CMOs and MS to review the management of Covid-19 pandemic and vaccination in all districts.
The meeting discussed on presence of officers and staff in their place of posting, Covid-19 testing, Vaccination-mobilisation and vaccine availability, availability and functioning of equipment in respective districts, deployment of oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders and ventilators, availability of ambulances, Coverage of rural areas, sharing information with DTF-transparently providing details of funds and other resources made available.
It also discussed at length implementation and progress impact of activities under NHP (World Bank), Contribution/Donation received from various NGO’s, Companies, Churches and well-wishers, requirement of PPE, Mask, Vaccine and Medicine and any equipment, incentives to Nurses and other employees under NHM during isolation, grievances or quires from the district and status of manpower under DH, CHC and PHC
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Secretary Wezope Kenye, Principal Director, Dr Neikhrielie Khimiao, Joint Secretary Ajit K Ranjan, Director (FW) Dr Thorhusie Katiry, Director (Dental) Dr Theyiephrezo Khimia, Joint Director Dr Kika Longkumer, Joint Director Dr Neisakho Kire and Deputy Director Dr Nyan Kikon.
