THIS BHOGALI BIHU immerses you in the rich traditions and ethnic cuisines of Assam with a Bhogali Bihu Themed Dinner at The Square, Novotel Guwahati GS Road. From January 11 to 13 starting at 7 pm onwards, the event promises to celebrate the heart and soul of Assamese food and culture.
Bhogali Bihu, a festival synonymous with abundance and togetherness, is celebrated with grand feasts featuring the finest traditional dishes. Novotel Guwahati brings this spirit to life with a menu showcasing an array of authentic Assamese delicacies, such as Omita Khar, Jatilau Khar, Mati Mah Dail, Koldil Aloo, Guti Aloo Lai Xaak bhaji, Haanh Kumura, Sagoli Mangsho Jul, Til Diya Kukura Mangsho, Joha Rice Pulao and many more. Prepared using locally sourced ingredients, these dishes reflect the essence of the Assamese culinary heritage.
The Square will be adorned with vibrant traditional decor to create an ambiance reminiscent of a true Bhogali Bihu celebration. To complement the culinary experience, there will also be live performances of Assamese folk music, making it a complete cultural delight.
The Square will serve both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian authentic Assamese cuisine, thus making it a complete culinary delight for the people.
